The Nintendo 64 Launches!

Tired customers walk out of the electronics stores they waited all night outside of with the brand new Nintendo 64 in their hands. The brand new video game console by Nintendo is their 3rd commercial console and also their first venture into the brand new 3D realm of gaming. The system has launched with 2 games, Pilotwings 64 and Super Mario 64. Both of these games, along with the console as a whole, have captivated consumers with it's 3D environments and leaps in quality compared to Nintendo's last console, the SNES. The Nintendo 64, although just launching, already has steep competition. The SEGA Saturn and, especially, Sony's Playstation have been crushing the gaming market with their 3D systems that have already had a year head start on Nintendo. The Nintendo 64, though falling behind in release timing, has captured the hearts of gamers for now.
